Back!

Three months away from what I called 'home', and now I'm back! Back to my daily routine, daily marketing, and the usual tram sound. Three months of carefree life in KL, seeing your love ones by jst a call away, the hot and humid weather, and my all time favorite food. This trip back was different. Coz I know this will be my last trip back to Melbourne with the same feelings I've had for the past 3 years. Four months...Jst four months then I'm done! Am I anticipating it or not? Yes! In a way. And a No! For the other way.

This time I felt a whole lot of emptiness in my heart. Not a feeling I like at all. Once I stepped out of the Melbourne airport, instantly I know it's not the same. The lack of laughter which I love to hear, lack of insaneness which I love to see, and most of all, the lack of pampering which is at the top of my list. There's only one person in the world who knows what I'm thinking now. And that's You!!!

Not a teary goodbye yesterday since I'm going bck few months later. It's jst the thought of not being physically there strikes me most. Well I guess if my sight stay with you for another 5 seconds, you'll have to pay for my tears. Waving to you from a distance is going to be the last thing I ever wana do again.

Missing each and every, bits and pieces of errands we've run together...

Now that we're together

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched...but are felt in the heart. Love, is one of them. When you think about what it takes for two people to agree that they want to be together, it is a miracle that there is a thing called a relationship. Yes, love is the most beautiful thing, after the process of love, the word relationship comes into the picture. Which I think it's the most difficult to handle.

Many of your happiest memories will be those moments when the person oyu liked returned those feelings and you suddenly found yourself 'involved' with someone. But like everything else in life, the fantasy is usually better than the reality, and with this new experience comes many new problems. Relationships can bring great happiness but also great pain, especially when you see differences comes into the frame gradually.

I guess one of our main goals as humans is to learn how to give and receive love. A relationship takes commitment. In order to fulfill the commitment, is it enough to just promise to love the person forever and always? The kind of commitment in my context says this: 'I am willing to look at both sides of the situation. I will communicate honestly and respectfully.' It's perfectly hard to weigh the amount of commitment each has given out or rather there's no scale to judge whether it's fair or not. It is a voluntary process instead.

Differences. No matter how much both of you are in love, in deep love, sooner or later differences will overtake romance and that's the time when you need to come out with a solution. Or maybe both parties should share the same perspective, holding each other hand in hand. Pull the other one back when you see he/she is about to step out of the path. It is never a mistake to have loved. Just another form of education to yourself. Love is present everywhere, just a matter of feeling it or not.

Another type of 'art'

Finally!!! An entry without the word Hong Kong as title...Been bck for almost a month, but the place is still fresh in my memory.

My first manicure was given to this quite manly and oversize lady in Mid Valley. I hv to apologize for judging someone physically, but my first impression was, "Are you sure this lady can do such dainty job?" The answer is yes!!! She did it nicely and of coz perfectly. She painted and filed my nails as if it's so delicate. Well, I'm satisfied with e french nails I'm having now and a big thank to her. Psssttt...She double and triple checked my nails to make sure it's perfectly done. I'll nvr do a good job if i'm in her profession.

Yes! U said it, pumpkin! Mermaid will be here on Friday and can you believe this is the end of our few planned trip?!! Well, at least for e time being this is the last one in our list. Gonna make sure they enjoyed their 10 days stay in KL and repay his warmest welcome whn we were in HK. Can't wait to bring them to all the places we mentioned e other day. Ps: Her-man is sure to experience one of the sins- Envy!!! Dun worry, I'll keep an eye on him for u.

This is the longest vacation I've ever had...3.5 months!!! And it's going to draw an end soon and I'll be bck to continue the remaining of my studies. My feelings??How shld I put it...hhHmmmm...a mixture of both...I feel more like 'home' whn I'm bck in Melb, mainly bcoz I spent more time there rather than my home here in KL. It will be one of my sweetest memories and most treasured experience.

Hong Kong (The Finale!!!)

Day 13- Causeway Bay
Again, today decided to spend more money on shopping. But sometimes things jst go e opposite way since we are really running out of money by this time. Lunch @ Fairwood today. Another type of chinese fastfood chain in Hong Kong. Thn, headed to Sogo and Times Square for a look at least. Times Square in KL is nothing compared to e one in HK.

Dinner today was hotpot @ Little Lamb in TST. Finally, after almost two wks we had e chance to try e local hotpot. One of my best hotpot session!!! It's very different fr the Malaysian style. They hv all this special drinks to go w it and it was my first time having their Tsing Dao beer together w hotpot. Best combination!!! Thanks to Aunty Peggy for the treat tonight.

Day 14- Pigeon Feast @ Shatin
By today, I can't believe we have been in HK for two wks. I hv adapted to their lifestyle and actually enjoying e fun of taking mtr everyday, experiencing e HK crowd. However, our shopping thrill nvr ends. We went to Lei Si again for our last shopping. Regardless of e first day or e last day, we sitll have loads to buy and spent till almost our last penny. GIRLS!!!

Dinner tonight wuz at Shatin. The long anticipated pigeon feast!!! Apparently it wuz really good and worth eating. Well, at least e pigeon there are much bigger and cheaper than KL. Apart fr tht, I think e overall environment adds credit to it. And also maybe tmr we are heading back, u jst simply feel e effect. Ask me, and I'll think of 20 reasons to why I want to stay here for another two weeks!!!

Day 15- Bye Hong Kong
Woke up early in e morning unwillingly to get ready to e airport. The last time for me to use Franco's washroom early in e morning in order to beat the rest. Been practising this for the past two weeks. And i really enjoyed it!!! Throughout e journey to e airport, as expected, all i have in mind wuz the places we went and e things we ate in HK. It's really e most carefree two wks I've ever experienced for the past two years. All you have to think abt is where to shop and where to eat.

I guess the whole trip was yet another fun and memorable experience. Gone through both expected and unexpected issues. Overall, I'm giving 101% for the HK trip and I guess HK has managed to steal a small piece of my heart. Or should I say...

I left my heart in HK...

Hong Kong (Part 3)

Day 11- Macau
Woke up very early today to get ourself ready for e Macau day. Headed to e other part of Tsim Sha Tsui to board e ferry. Words to describe their ferry- Advance, Comfy, and Stable. Well at least it's much more stable than I thought. The journey was abt an hour and once we arrived, we headed straight to Tum Chai for crab porridge and pork bun. Apparently, they are the two must eat thing if you ever come to Macau. The whole trip was jst abt eating. Meals after meals till we can't even stuff more to our stomach. I guess the most 'inch' food was the pork bun. We have to queue up for it at 3 pm sharp. Not as great as it should be. Just another normal bun to me.

Then, headed to one of the tourist spot in Macau- St. Paul's Church ak.a Dai Sum Ba. (If not mistaken). The church was burnt down during the older centuries. Left only the front part of it. That's wht unique abt it. Of coz we won't miss out e chance to try Macau's famous portugese egg tart. Yes!!!Very nice indeed!!! Visited one of e casinos in Macau. Wanted to place a bet of 20 hkd but too bad, their smallest bet has to be 200 hkd. Personally, I don't really like Macau. It jst reminded me of China. Don't like the atmosphere. Nothing comparable to Hong Kong. Imagine they are jst separated by a sea less than an hour away, but the difference are so huge.

Day 12- TST
Finally, another no need to hurry for time day! Woke up w/o have to set the alarm and kickstarted e day with a satisfying meal @ Tai Ga Lok. Chinese fastfood, but I love it. I think Richie have had enough of shopping w us therefore he headed to Lantao Island instead. Again, we went to Lei Si for more shopping. But this time, we met this super cute uncle who is a tailor. He jst pulled us to his small little shop and showed us all the working pants and jackets. He's super, super darn funny!!! Still rmb e way he talks, will still laugh to myself whenever I think of him.

Dinner tonight was at a japanese restaurant in Tai Wai. Thanks to Aunty Michelle (Franco's ex boss), we were treated to a variety of jap food. From sashimi to shabu shabu. Love it!!! Thn, headed to a dessert shop nearby for more food to excite my taste bud. One of e things I miss most abt HK is definitely their DESSERTS!!!
