My realisation of human & nature

I had a dream today. A dream which made me realised how helpless and tiny human is in the eyes of nature. It's not a good dream obviously.

I dreamt of Tsunami. Tsunami happened just right in front of my eyes. I witnessed with my bare eyes how things were out of control when the huge waves swamped again and again towards my direction. It was so real. I tried to shout, but not a word came out. Woke from this shock, and when I fall asleep again, the same dream happened. As though a continuation of the previous dream.

I saw the the height of the waves, swallowing one building after another. I saw the explosions. I saw how people escaped for their lives. Nothing can be done by human except for running. It's not about what happened, or how many lives were taken in the dream, it's about my realisation of the power of nature vs. the power of human.

This dream bothered me the whole day long. Been having some bothering dreams lately, maybe due to my hidden anxiety. But this dream in particular feels exceptionally different to me. The same set of questions keep repeating in my mind. How far can I go? How much value do I have here? My supposed to have knowledge is just worthless in the eyes of the nature.

It's sad to realised we dominate the world, but yet, people failed to see we don't own it.

You're about to enter the workforce. Dont pressure yourself so much. I believe you know what you can achieve :)

Take care!!
