Leave behind
Things I'd miss most when I leave Melbourne:
- Trams (the tram sound reminds me of my 1st day in Melbourne)
- Food (it's hard to leave them behind)
- RMIT University (this goes without saying)
- Concept Blue (miss especially the corridor, will nvr forget the smell)
- The people (who walked pass me in Chinatown, Uni, Train stations...etc)
- Night clubs (ahhHHh...how much of sober time spent inside)
- My carefree lifestyle (those were the times...the times...the times...)
- Foreign friends (this is the hardest part to overcome...It's really hard when the day comes)
- Shopping (sometimes Melbourne fashion surprises you)
- Melbourne itself!!! (this goes without saying too)
Things I'd be bringing home when I leave Melbourne:
- Myself (a whole new me who look at things differently now. One of my tutors made me realised how much I've changed over the period of 3.5 years. The values I've learnt during the years have indirectly changed my perspective, leading me into a better person which I hope I'm able to bring it out)
- Emptiness (an empty heart trying to reorganise its senses and systems so as to adapt to the real home as soon as possible)
- A new identity (I'm no longer fit to state my occupation as 'student' whenever I come across this empty boxes. The days of recalling myself as a student...)
- Skills and knowledge (finally, it's time to put my uni studies into practice which I think is one of the most precious things I brought back from Melbourne)
