It was good
Got the chance to be back home earlier than 7 today..Finally! Thank god!!! Well, I guess today's shooting was not as tiring as the ones before. Mainly because I'm getting hold to it and I've got enough sleeping hours!!! Now I realised how important it is to sleep early eventhough I have to wake up early. Sleep at 10, wakey at 5 was perfectly fine. As of this few days, my sleeping hours were 10-5. Not bad actually. By the time I reach home, I'm half dead. Eat my dinner, and run straight to my bed to sleep. Now I understand why filming is such a tiring thing to do and why actors can sleep anywhere, anytime. Was knocked down by fever days ago, which made yesterday a dreadful day...Running in and out the studio, get things and crews organised. You just feel the responsibilities. Everyone's looking at you and your performance.
Being the only Asian and student at my age range, together with the grown ups and most importantly, PROS, intimidated me. The way they work are so different but am I lucky or what, all are friendly and well-mannered. I like it though. Like the praising particularly. I guess after a day of hard work, nothing beats a warm pat on the shoulder with a pair of grateful eyes looking straight into your eyes is the best reward. With this, I'm talking about the actors and crews, but most importantly my boss, Kella!!! Her smiles, the way she remember what you've said eventhough she has millions of other bigger issues to care about...etc...Everytime when I'm at the edge of running out of battery or exhausted, she will appear from nowhere and give me her trademark smile, in her unique accent of saying, 'Baby, are you alright?' I'm all soften down after hearing it.(Knowing how much I like people to talk to me in that way...) Well I guess to have your favorite boss working together with you is the best thing.
Taking up this job is definitely a right choice. At least I learnt darn lots despite the sacrificing of time and health, it's worth it! And I'm going to nail it!!! The terms I love most when I'm on set is 'We've got it!' 'Guys, that's a wrap!'. Second production will end tomorrow. Third one will be up this Saturday, goes on for another three days. Cool!!!
Weekend was good despite my long Sunday shoot and fever. Attended Katie's birthday party on Friday. Oriental night. First time to her house, how I wished my father is an architect. Her house was big and cosy in its unique design. The people are cool and friendly. The food are dainty and yummy. Her party makes me realised how much I'm going to miss this place after my return to KL. Well, when it happens, it happens.
