Food feast
For the past two weeks, I've been eating out almost everyday with friends, mainly to do some catch ups before I leave. My beloved darling Franco, is of coz almost 99% present in all the sessions. Now I realised time is really running out when he counted the number of restaurants and places we need to go in less than three weeks time. Mum will be arriving nxt week, which also marks the busiest time of the semester for me.
The highlight to eat place for the week is Bimbo Deluxe @ Brunswick. It's not a restaurant, but a pub which serves pizzas and alcohols. If I'm not mistaken, they served pizzas for $4 on every Thursday. It's the gourmet sort of pizzas, not one of those which you can grab from Druids or Inck. Katie will be leaving to Japan on Friday, so thanks to her, she invited us to Bimbo yesterday. Funky place, with 'babies' all around as their trademark. The place was rather dark and gloomy though. Knowing that I'm not going to see her when she's back from Japan, we stayed there longer than we expected. Wanted to leave at 9 but since Georgette and Charlie arrived, we dragged it till around 1 am. Special intro to their Lychee Vodka. It was not a teary goodbye though, coz looking at Katie just reminded me of all the crap jokes we taught her, it just makes me laugh.
On Tuesday, we finally went to Squires Loft @ South Yarra. A place Franco have been telling me since 3 years ago. He really wanted me to dine in the place so Richie, Franco and I went. All of us dressed up smart and nice, except for Richie. HAHAHAHAHAHA...Franco had a tie and suit on, while I dressed up nicely, and Richie...HanaaaahHHHh...Joking! Richie wore a shirt^^. We pampered ourself with a steak and a cocktail each. Can't believe that small amount of alcohol consumption managed to make me and Richie a little drowsy =.=... Guess it was long since we last consume alcohol. Three of us walked along Toorak Road and realised how nice it was to walk freely in the middle of the night, while admiring the nice shops around.
Currently anticipating the club we're going tomorrow at Prahran. Apparently it's a gay/les bar. Knowing how curious and how much I've always wanted to go to this kind of bars. Too bad, my acting partner is now here.
